Another Shark Tank Pitch

Who Is The Founder Of MyoStorm?

Jonothan DiPeri is the founder of MyoStorm, with Logan Carlson serving as an executive in the company. Jonothan established MyoStorm LLC in 2018 after studying at Brigham Young University.

Currently, he is also the owner of three other companies: Solely Jane, SíPo Studios, and REP Labs.

How Was The Shark Tank Pitch Of MyoStorm?

Jonothan, along with Shaquille Walker and Jared Ward, entered Shark Tank to present their product, the MyoStorm massage ball. They sought $150,000 for a 10% equity stake. The sharks experienced the massage ball firsthand and reported feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

The landed cost of the product is $40, while its selling price is $160, which many considered expensive. To date, they have sold 900 units, resulting in total sales of $120,000, including sales from Kickstarter.

Lori Greiner pointed out that the product’s high price is likely a barrier to sales, suggesting that it could perform better if priced under $100.

Mark Cuban quickly offered $250,000 for a 20% equity stake. When Matt Higgins requested to partner with Mark, he declined. Mark later withdrew his offer after Jonothan expressed a desire to consider proposals from other sharks.

Kevin O’Leary then offered $150,000 for a 5% equity stake plus a royalty of $1 per ball sold until he recoups $500,000. Matt Higgins matched the original ask with an offer of $150,000 for 10% equity.

Lori Greiner also agreed to match Kevin’s offer. Ultimately, Jonothan and his team accepted Lori’s proposal.

Finalized: Lori Greiner invests $150k in ‘MyoStorm’ for 5% equity + a royalty of $1 per ball sold until $500k is recouped.
