You can obtain this pet by hatching an Enchanted Egg.
When placed in the garden, the egg has only a 1% chance of giving you the Cockatrice.
In appearance, it has a brown and tan body, a pale beaked face, a red crest, clawed feet, and large teal geometric wings, giving it the look of a whimsical, toy-like mythical bird.
The Cockatrice comes with two unique abilities.
The first is Silver Screech, which activates every 1000–400 seconds. When triggered, it screeches, giving all fruits within 20–40 studs a 20–40% chance to turn Silver and a 1–3% chance to turn Gold.
The second ability is Venom Spit, which activates every 625–180 seconds. It spits at 5–10 different fruits, eggs, or pets. Fruits hit receive the Toxic mutation, eggs advance by 80–150 seconds, and pets gain 800–1500 XP.
Apart from these abilities, the Cockatrice has a hunger level of 66,000, which is considered quite high.
