Morrison Outdoors is a company that makes special sleeping bags for babies and toddlers so families can go camping safely. Tavis Malcolm, the founder, wanted to take his baby camping but couldn’t find baby-friendly sleeping bags. So, he created one using two blankets and a zipper. This was the start of Morrison Outdoors.
He began the business in 2019 with a crowdfunding campaign. Now, their baby sleeping bags are sold in big stores like REI across the U.S. and Canada. Tavis appeared on Shark Tank Season 16 to ask for investment to expand the business.
